The flatlands here are called the Fens, we have specifically chosen this location and time of year, as its flat and fast and an ideal opportunity to crack the 100-mile distance.
The whole area is a fine network of medium and small roads; so many that on a map they will look like lacework and they best part is they are FLAT.
This is a great ride if you do not like hills, there is only one !!! and even that is more of a bump.
With aid stations and on course support, you ride, we will help you finish.

Although the routes are comprehensively marked with route arrows on occasion people move these signs, we suggest downloading the route to a phone or navigation device just in case you need route assistance on the day.

COURSE SPLITS / CUT OFFS:
For the safety of riders and the sanity of event staff we must use cut offs, if you start your ride at the appropriate time and can ride at approx. 12 mph you will make the course split point.
On this event the cut off is at 92 km at1300, you must be at the92 km point by1300 to continue the long route.
If not, you will be directed to the medium course, this affects the long route only.
RIDERS ON BOTH ROUTES MUST RETURN TO THE EVENT VENUE BY 1630
We try to have a varied mixed at the feed stations, these will include: –

Please note we do not supply gels and we cannot guarantee the products do not contain nuts, gluten, or wheat.
If you have specific food tolerances you will need to carry your own supplies.
SPECIFIC EVENT INFORMATION:
Parking will open at 0700
Registration will be from 0730 – 0845
You can start from 0730 – 0900
The START will close at 0900 you will not be able to start after this time.
There will be a small safety brief on the start line just before the event begins, if you miss the briefing, you will not be able to compete.

Event updates will arrive approx. 2 weeks before an event, but everything you need to know is contained within these event pages.
Transfers, deferrals, and entrant swaps will close 1 month before the event, when the event sells out, we will operate a waiting list.
If a space becomes available, you will be invited via email to enter.

We always welcome volunteers at our events so if you fancy joining the team for the day or even a few hours at registration or with parking, please get in touch. You will be rewarded for your efforts and will be able to choose an event to enter for free, that is any event and any distance.
